Prerequisites
To be able to sit the PMI-ACP® exam you will need to create a free account on the pmi.org website, apply for the exam, and prove to PMI that you fulfil the following prerequisites:
- Have a secondary school qualification, such as a high school diploma, GED (general educational development), or global equivalent, AND
- 21 contact hours of training in agile practices (you will receive these by completing our PMI-ACP® training course, AND
- Professional Agile Experience in the form of:
- 24 months of agile project experience within the last 5 years, OR
- 12 months agile experience and degree from Global Accreditation Center (GAC) program, OR
- 12 months year agile experience and active 3rd party agile certification (current and earned more than 1 year ago), OR a current PMP certification.

Extra Options
PMI-ACP® Exam Cost
The PMI-ACP® certification cost is USD435 for PMI members and USD495 for non-members.
This is excluded from the course fee, but Millpond is able to offer PMI Membership and Exam Vouchers in a NZD or AUD ‘bundle’ at the time of registration. There is no cost benefit to this, but it can make the process of joining PMI and paying for the exam easier for candidates and/or their organisation.
