Millpond launches QA / Testing Practice

Millpond are thrilled to announce the launch of our Quality Assurance/ Testing practice

Millpond has long been renowned as an IT Project Management and Training provider (and more recently Business Analysis & Change Management), and we are proud of the reputation we have built for helping our customers deliver successful digital outcomes.

As a natural extension of our services across digital project lifecycles, several months ago Millpond took the first steps along the path to also providing certainty around Quality of customer projects, through our software Testing practice. Since then, we have been quietly building our capability while delivering Testing outcomes for a number of clients, and it is now time to formally acknowledge the Testing practice launch.

Minimise the risk to your digital implementation

We view Testing as very much complementary to the project management, business analysis, change management and capability uplift (training) that we provide to our customers. This breadth of offering enables us to strengthen our position as a “safe pair of hands” for our customers and their digital projects. We now span all aspects of project guidance and governance, from business case and inception to requirements to management and quality verification.

Whether your project is working with external software delivery partners, or your own inhouse developers, Millpond can guide all aspects of the implementation including providing quality assurance. In this way we can de-risk your critical digital projects and provide enhanced certainty of successful outcomes for your business.

Our Quality Assurance & Testing service line has been formed leveraging some of the most experienced people in market. Mark Young, General Manager – Sales, has led two of the largest Testing practices in the South Island over the past 6 years, and is involved in strategy development and connection with our customers. Wilfred Samuels is our QA Practice Lead and is one of the most experienced Test Professionals in the market, with over 20 years of Test Management experience. Our remaining team members also offer unparalleled experience and commitment to quality outcomes for our customers, which is one of our differentiators as we build the most experienced Testing team in market.

Millpond’s point of difference to our customers in the Testing space are around our people and experience, our reputation for excellent customer delivery, the breadth of our offerings allowing us to de-risk your projects, and the synergies between the services and different roles we can provide – all from a 100% New Zealand owned organisation, with a people-centric culture.

We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your Quality Assurance and Testing needs for your next project.
