Changes to the CAPM® certification exam in 2023

Find out about the upcoming changes to the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exam, going live from 25 July 2023.

PMI have made some CAPM® certification changes which are due to be implemented from 25 July 2023.

Mike Roberts, Principal Trainer at Millpond, hosted a webinar highlighting the changes and how best to prepare for them. In this video recording of the webinar, Furthermore, Mike covers useful information such as what the exam entails, its requirements, and how to maintain the CAPM® certification once you’ve passed the exam.

What is CAPM®?

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) is a Project Management Institute (PMI) credential confirming an understanding of the PMBOK® Guide. This certification is perfect for those new or looking for a career change in project management. The CAPM® certification will give a thorough understanding of the methodologies and best practices in project management. What’s more it is a good stepping stone to getting your Project Management Professional (PMP®) credentials.

As a globally recognised certification, CAPM® can open doors to entry-level project management roles such as project coordinator associate and junior project manager.
